Biography

Jean A. Dowdall, Ph.D., is a consultant in the Education Practice of Witt/Kieffer; she has led over 150 searches for college and university presidents, vice presidents and deans. She previously served as a college dean, vice president and president. Her book, Searching for Higher Education Leadership (Greenwood Publishing Group), offers advice for candidates and search committees.
