Babson Report Details Changes in Online Enrollments

January 17, 2018

The Babson Survey Research Group last week released its annual analysis of federal data on distance education enrollments, finding the largest increase in three years in the proportion of students taking at least one course online (31.6 percent). Among the report's highlights, it finds that 5 percent of institutions account for nearly half of all online students, and international students account for fewer than 1 percent of all distance students.

An "Inside Digital Learning" article this month explored the same data.
