Loyola Chicago and Orbis Begin Hybrid Accelerated Nursing Program
May 23, 2018

Loyola University Chicago began this January offering a hybrid, accelerated bachelor of science nursing program with the help of Orbis Education Services, a company that builds technology-enabled partnerships between universities and health care systems..

The program's content will be identical to Loyola's on-campus nursing curriculum. Hybrid students -- 34 in the spring 2018 cohort -- will use Loyola's e-learning platform to learn fundamentals and theories, which they'll put in practice at an Orbis-built off-campus learning facility and at local health care facilities.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
