October 31, 2018

George Washington University has since 2012 created three online graduate degree programs with help from the online program management provider 2U. Now the company is helping the institution develop 10 short courses "across various professional disciplines," 2U announced Tuesday.

The non-credit-bearing courses will be aimed at professionals looking to gain "industry-relevant skills for an increasingly complex business environment," said Forrest Maltzman, the university's provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, in a news release.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
