About the Confidential Profiles database

No more paying first and searching second. Using a model familiar from online dating services, we let you search our candidate database as much as you like - even view full profiles. If you wish to contact a candidate, we’ll charge a modest fee.

Can I get unlimited access to the Confidential Profiles database, rather than paying for each contact?

Unlimited access to the Confidential Profiles database is for $1,000 per year. And access to our candidate database is included in our unlimited recruiting package. See our rate card for details or contact Kathlene Collins at kathlene.collins@insidehighered.com for more information.

Will I have to pay to discover there's no one in your Confidential Profiles database right for my job?

We take a very different approach to our pricing plan for the Confidential Profiles database than do most job boards. You won't have to gamble by paying first and searching second. Using a model familiar from online dating services, we'll allow recruiters to search the database as much as they like and view full profiles. If you wish to contact a candidate, we'll charge an $8.00 fee.

Would I search the Confidential Profiles database instead of posting a job? In addition to posting a job?

The Confidential Profiles database will be particularly well suited to finding people for contract or adjunct positions, although just about any position will benefit from a search of the database. There will be no charge to search or review complete Confidential Profiles so why not plan to make a quick search part of your usual recruiting routine?

What is the Confidential Profiles database?

The greatest thing since sliced bread? Maybe not, but it will be a terrific way for you to find candidates with specialized qualifications. Users of Inside Higher Ed are invited to create a Confidential Profile using a simple form that outlines their professional experience and education (but no personal contact information) and enter it in a searchable database. Employers like you can search the database for likely matches to open positions. When you find a match, an anonymous link allows you to compose an e-mail to the Profile holder, delivered by Inside Higher Ed.
