New Presidents or Provosts: Alliant International U., Florida Gulf Coast U., Lake Superior State U., Philadelphia U., U. of Connecticut

• Wilson G. Bradshaw, president of Metropolitan State University, in Minnesota, has been named president of Florida Gulf Coast University.
• Michael J. Hogan, executive vice president and provost at the University of Iowa, has been selected as president of the University of Connecticut.
• Rodney L. Lowman, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Alliant International University, in California, has been chosen as president of Lake Superior State University, in Michigan.
• Russ Newman, a clinical psychologist and fellow of the American Psychological Association, has been named provost of Alliant International University, in California.
• Stephen Spinelli Jr., vice provost at Babson College, in Massachusetts, has been appointed president of Philadelphia University.
