  • American University has announced a joint, two-year LLM/MBA program in international business and law, to be offered by the institution's business and law schools.
  • Arizona State University is creating a master's degree in health care innovation, designed for people seeking to become senior officials in health organizations or hospitals. The program will be part of Arizona State's nursing school.
  • The Graduate Center of the City University of New York is creating a doctor of nursing science degree. Students will be trained to become educators, researchers and to lead health-care programs.
  • Lafayette College is starting a new, interdisciplinary major in policy studies.
  • Mercer County Community College, in New Jersey, is starting a  new associate degree in culinology, which combines food science and culinary arts.
  • The School of Visual Arts will introduce a BFA in visual and critical studies in fall 2007.
  • The University of Massachusetts at Boston is starting an MFA program in creative writing in fall 2007.
  • West Virginia University  is starting an online master's degree in legal studies. The program is designed for those working in human resources, training and labor relations.
