New Programs: Gender Studies, Science, Teacher Education

- American University in Cairo has started a master's degree in gender and women's studies.
- Twelve California State University campuses are starting professional science master's programs. The initial sites for the programs will be at campuses in Chico, Dominguez Hills, East Bay, Fullerton, Fresno, Los Angeles, Pomona, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, San Marcos, and Stanislaus.
- Oberlin College is starting a one-year master of education degree.
