California State University at Long Beach is starting a new M.B.A./M.F.A. joint program in theater management.

Dominican University, in Illinois, is starting a new master's degree in leadership for family ministry and faith development.

Iowa State University is starting a Ph.D. program in business and technology.

Northern Illinois University is adding a nanoscience specialization as an option within its physics Ph.D. program.

Raritan Valley Community College, in New Jersey, is starting a new associate of science degree in Web development.

The State University of New York at Buffalo is starting an online master of engineering degree in production management. The program is Buffalo's first fully online master's.

The University of South Dakota is starting a Ph.D. program in political science.

The University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire is starting a 12-credit graduate program to train future directors of special education in school systems. The program can be used as a free-standing certificate or applied to a master's degree.

Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Massachusetts, is starting a new bachelor's program in environmental science. Students will pick among specializations in science and technology, health and safety, and policy and pre-law.

Winston-Salem State University is starting a bachelor of science degree in motorsport management.The academic program will be linked to internships in the NASCAR industry.
