Sylvia Rodriguez Andrew, former dean and professor of the College of Social Work at San Jose State University, in California, has been chosen as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Antioch University Los Angeles.

Don Betz, chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, has been appointed as president of Northeastern State University.

Brendan J. Dugan, chairman and CEO of the Metro New York/New Jersey division of Sovereign Bancorp, has been named president of St. Francis College, in New York.

Edward S. Macias, dean of arts & sciences and the Barbara and David Thomas Distinguished Professor in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, has been promoted to provost there.

John Orr, dean of undergraduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in Massachusetts, has been promoted to provost and senior vice president there.

Fred P. Pestello, provost and senior vice president for educational affairs at the University of Dayton, in Ohio, has been selected as president of Le Moyne College, in New York.

Andreea Serban, vice chancellor of technology and learning services at South Orange County Community College District, in California, has been appointed superintendent/president of the Santa Barbara City College District.

William J. McKinney, dean of the College of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts at Slippery Rock University, has been named vice chancellor for academic affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
