Rigoberta Menchu spoke at my undergraduate commencement speaker. My life long take away from her speech: In certain situations, it is okay to lie, repeat the lie, and deny the lie until you receive your prize.
A lesson taken to heart by Jeff Skilling, Ken Lay, Dennis Levine, George W. Bush, etc.

As a native West Virginian, I am appalled by this entire mess at WVU. The President needs to resign to maintain some piece of dignity for the institution. Since he is admitting responsibility, he needs to have the decency to resign.
