New Presidents or Provosts: American College of Greece, Bladen CC, Louisiana College, Merrimack College, U. of Birmingham, U. of Colorado-Denver

Ronald Champagne, interim president of Shimer College, in Illinois, has been named president of Merrimack College, in Massachusetts.

David Eastwood, chief executive of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, has been appointed as vice chancellor of the University of Birmingham, in Britain.

William Findt, executive vice president for development and community relations at Mitchell Community College, in North Carolina, has been selected as president of Bladen Community College, also in North Carolina.

David G. Horner, senior managing director of EFL Associates and former president of North Park University, in Illinois, has been named president of American College of Greece.

Roderick Nairn, vice chancellor for university initiatives at the University of Colorado at Denver, has been promoted to provost there.

Michael E. Travers, professor of English at Southeastern College at Wake Forest, part of the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in North Carolina, has been appointed vice president for academic affairs at Louisiana College.
