- Thomas Armstrong, vice president for instructional services at Otero Junior College, in Colorado, has been named president of Eastern Wyoming College.
- Russell A. Davis, acting and interim president of Gloucester County College, in New Jersey, has been appointed to the job on a permanent basis.
- T. Eston (Bud) Marchant III, vice president for educational affairs at Piedmont Technical College, in South Carolina, has been selected as president of Central Carolina Community College.
- Bernard J. Luskin, executive vice president and director of media studies at the Fielding Graduate University, in California, has been named provost and CEO for global e-learning programs at Touro University.
- Harris Pastides, vice president for research and health sciences at the University of South Carolina and executive director of the South Carolina Research Foundation, has been chosen as the university's president.
- Wellington Reiter, dean of the College of Design at Arizona State University, has been selected as president of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
