New Presidents or Provosts: CUNY Graduate Center, Nouveau U., Santa Clara U., Seattle Community Colleges, U. of the Arts

The Rev. Michael Engh, S.J., dean of the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts at Loyola Marymount University, in California, has been appointed as president of Santa Clara University, also in California.

Michael Nash, dean and chief academic officer of the Boston Conservatory, in Massachusetts, has been chosen as provost of the University of the Arts, in Pennsylvania.

Laura Palmer Noone, former president of the University of Phoenix, has been selected as chief executive officer of Nouveau University.

Chase F. Robinson, professor of Islamic history and former chairman of the faculty of Oriental studies at the University of Oxford, has been appointed as provost at the City University of New York's Graduate Center.

Jill Wakefield, president of South Seattle Community College, in Washington, has been named chancellor of the Seattle Community Colleges.
