New Presidents or Provosts: Gadsden State CC, Lord Fairfax CC, Mississippi State U., New England Board of Higher Education, Stetson University

W. Darryl Harrison, vice president for academic affairs at West Georgia Technical College, has been named president of Gadsden State Community College, in Alabama.

Mark Keenum, U.S. under secretary of farm and foreign agricultural services, has been selected as president of Mississippi State University.

Wendy B. Libby, president of Stephens College, in Missouri, has been chosen as president of Stetson University, in Florida.

Michael K. Thomas, interim president and CEO of the New England Board of Higher Education, has been appointed to the job on a permanent basis.

Cheryl Thompson-Stacy, president of Eastern Shore Community College, in Virginia, has been named president of Lord Fairfax Community College, also in Virginia.
