'Science Idol' Winner Announced
The winner of "Science Idol" was announced Friday. It's not the latest reality television show, but a cartoon contest sponsored by the Union of Concerned Scientists to draw attention to the way politics displaced science during the Bush administration and the importance of President Obama's keeping to his pledge not to do so. The 12 finalists (which will become part of a calendar to promote scientific integrity), including the winner, may be found here.
