- John Bassett, president of Clark University, in Massachusetts, has been appointed president of Heritage University, in Washington State.
- Fletcher Lamkin, a consultant and former president of Westminster College, in Missouri, has been selected as president of Kansas Wesleyan University.
- Robert S. Nelsen, associate vice president for academic affairs at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, has been named president of the University of Texas-Pan American.
- Benjamin Sasse, assistant professor of public affairs at the University of Texas' Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, has been chosen as president of Midland Lutheran College, in Nebraska.
