New Presidents or Provosts: Montgomery County CC, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, U. of Iowa, U. of Regina, West Los Angeles College

Nabil Abu-Ghazaleh, vice chancellor of educational services and technology at Coast Community College District, in California, has been chosen as president at West Los Angeles College.

Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at Montgomery County Community College, in Pennsylvania, has been appointed vice president of academic affairs and provost there.

Barry Butler, interim executive vice president and provost at the University of Iowa, has been named to the job on a permanent basis.

Thomas Chase, vice president (academic) and provost at Royal Roads University, in British Columbia, has been selected as provost and vice president (academic) at the University of Regina, in Saskatchewan.

Phillip J. Cornwell, professor of mechanical engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Indiana, has been promoted to vice president of academic affairs there.
