New Presidents or Provosts: Antioch U. Los Angeles, Cardiff U., Diablo Valley College, Lewis-Clark State College, Rosemont College, U. of Arkansas System

Donald R. Bobbitt, provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington, has been chosen as president of the University of Arkansas System.

Tex Boggs, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at Antioch University Los Angeles, has been promoted to president there.

B. Christopher Dougherty, associate dean for the faculty of arts & sciences and director of the Educational Opportunity Fund Program at Rutgers University at Camden, in New Jersey, has been selected as provost and vice president for academic and student affairs at Rosemont College, in Pennsylvania.

Peter Garcia, interim president of Diablo Valley College, in California, has been named to the job on a permanent basis.

Colin Riordan, vice chancellor of the University of Essex, in England, has been chosen as vice chancellor of Cardiff University, in Wales.

Carmen Simone, vice president for academic affairs at Casper College, in Wyoming, has been hired as provost at Lewis-Clark State College, in Idaho.
