New Presidents or Provosts: Hawkeye CC, Lancaster U., U. of Indianapolis, U. of Washington-Tacoma, William Jessup U.

Deborah Ware Balogh, provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Indianapolis, has been promoted to executive vice president and provost there.

Sam Dosumu, vice president of instructional services at Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College, in North Carolina, has been chosen as vice president of academic affairs at Hawkeye Community College, in Iowa.

James W. Harrington Jr., a geography professor at the University of Washington Seattle, has been selected as vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Washington at Tacoma.

Dennis Jameson, provost at Trinity Western University, in British Columbia, has been named vice president of academic affairs at William Jessup University, in California.

Mark Smith, deputy vice chancellor at the University of Warwick, in Britain, has been appointed vice chancellor of Lancaster University, also in Britain.
