New Presidents or Provosts: DeVry U.-Seattle Metro, Harris-Stowe State U., New York Institute of Technology, Northern Caribbean U., U. of Virginia

Maria Dezenberg, campus dean for DeVry University's campus in Las Vegas, has been chosen as president of its campus in Seattle.

Trevor Gardner, president of the University of the Southern Caribbean, in Trinidad and Tobago, has been selected as president of Northern Caribbean University, in Jamaica.

Rahmat A. Shoureshi, dean of the School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver, has been named provost and vice president for academic affairs at New York Institute of Technology.

John D. Simon, vice provost for academic affairs at Duke University, has been appointed as executive vice president and provost at the University of Virginia.

Albert Walker, president of Bluefield State College, in West Virginia, has been named president of Harris-Stowe State University, in Missouri.
