New Programs: Psychology and Law, Information Systems, Network Technology

Cornell University is starting a joint J.D./Ph.D. in the law and developmental psychology. Students will be able to earn both degrees in six years.

San Diego State University is starting a master's of science degree in information systems.

University of California at Santa Cruz is starting an undergraduate major in network and digital technology.

SimpsonScarborough recently did an analysis of all of the listings Inside Higher Ed runs of new programs, Of the 127 new programs announced in 2011 to date, the largest number were in science and technology fields (30), followed by health sciences (25), business (10) and education (10).
