  • Robert A. Altenkirch, president of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, has been chosen as president of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
  • Thomas B. Baynum, president of Coastal Bend College, in Texas, has been appointed as president of Black Hawk College, in Illinois.
  • Sushanta Dattagupta, director of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, in India, has been selected as vice chancellor of Vishwa Bharti University, also in India.
  • Maravene S. Loeschke, president of Mansfield University in Pennsylvania, has been named president of Towson University, in Maryland.
  • Donald Mroz, dean of the School of Business at Post University, in Connecticut, has been promoted to its presidency as well.
