- Ronald J. Ambrosetti, provost and dean of the College at St. John Fisher College, in New York, has been named president of Our Lady of Holy Cross College, in Louisiana.
- Erik Hoekstra, provost of Dordt College, in Iowa, has been selected as president there.
- Sylvia Jenkins, vice president of academic affairs at Moraine Valley Community College, in Illinois, has been promoted to president there.
- John Kroger, attorney general of Oregon, has been appointed as president of Reed College, also in Oregon.
- Earl Lewis, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Emory University, in Georgia, has been named president of the Mellon Foundation, in New York.
- Brian J. May, professor of animal science and dean of the College of Graduate Studies at Angelo State University, in Texas, has been chosen as provost and vice president for academic affairs there.
- Robert Wood, interim provost of Trinity Western University, in British Columbia, has been promoted to the job on a permanent basis.
