Aug. 27, 2013 -- Inside Higher Ed's 2013 Survey of Faculty Attitudes on Technology explored the perspectives of more than 2,000 college professors on topics such as how to measure quality in online education and the potential impact of massive open online courses. The survey was conducted in conjunction with researchers from Gallup. A copy of the survey report can be downloaded here.

Inside Higher Ed regularly surveys key higher ed professionals on a range of topics.

On Sept. 12, Inside Higher Ed presented a free webinar to discuss the results of the survey. Editors Scott Jaschik and Doug Lederman analyzed the findings and answer readers' questions.

July 12, 2013 -- Chief business officers offered their views on timely topics such as their campuses' financial sustainability, health care costs and the importance of student retention in Inside Higher Ed's new Survey of College & University Business officers, the third annual survey of campus CFOs. A copy of the survey report can be downloaded here. This is the first business officers' survey to be conducted in conjunction with researchers from Gallup.

March 20 -- Parents of pre-college students offer their views on the most important reasons to go to college, why jobs matter, the liberal arts, money and affirmative action in a new Inside Higher Ed survey. first conducted in conjunction with researchers from Gallup.

On Thursday, April 11, Inside Higher Ed presented a free webinar to discuss the results of the survey. Editor Scott Jaschik and two admissions directors --  Jim Rawlins of Colorado State University and Debra Shaver of Smith College -- shared and analyzed the findings and took audience questions. It is the first conducted in conjunction with researchers from Gallup.

Jan. 23, 2013 -- Chief academic officers in an Inside Higher Ed survey are aware their institutions rely on non-tenure-track instructors, but don't expect much to change. And they see MOOCs more as a threat to their business models than as an improvement for academe.

Inside Higher Ed collaborated with Gallup on this project.
