Washington University Switching From Blackboard to Canvas

Washington University in St. Louis [1] has partnered with the learning management system provider Canvas to replace its current partnership with Blackboard, which will be phased out at the institution this fall and next spring. The Canvas switchover will be complete by next summer, according to a news release [2].

Inside Higher Ed wrote in July about the narrowing market share gap [3] between Blackboard and Canvas.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
