Digital Learning in ‘Inside Higher Ed’ This Week

Submitted by Doug Lederman on March 7, 2018 - 3:00am

Inside Higher Ed published several articles relevant to the “Inside Digital Learning” audience this week, in case you missed them.

  • The Higher Learning Commission this week approved Purdue University's acquisition [1] of Kaplan University, allowing for the creation of Purdue University Global, which aims to become a major player in the adult online learning market.
  • A group of students at Stanford University (of all places) is asking Apple [2] to help them combat smartphone addiction. “Honk! If you’re addicted to your iPhone” was one sign that Stanford Students Against Addictive Devices used in its protest.
