Sylvia Rodriguez Andrew, former dean and professor of the College of Social Work at San Jose State University, in California, has been chosen as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Antioch University Los Angeles.
Don Betz, chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, has been appointed as president of Northeastern State University.
Brendan J. Dugan, chairman and CEO of the Metro New York/New Jersey division of Sovereign Bancorp, has been named president of St. Francis College, in New York.
Edward S. Macias, dean of arts & sciences and the Barbara and David Thomas Distinguished Professor in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, has been promoted to provost there.
John Orr, dean of undergraduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in Massachusetts, has been promoted to provost and senior vice president there.
