New Presidents or Provosts: Bard College at Simon's Rock, Dominican U., Gannon U., Ivy Tech CC, Linfield College, Mt. San Antonio College, San Diego Mesa College, U. of California-Merced

  • Susan Agre-Kippenhan, dean of the College of Arts & Architecture at Montana State University, has been selected [1] as vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty at Linfield College, in Oregon.
  • Peter Laipson, dean of faculty at Concord Academy, in Massachusetts, has been named [2] provost of Bard College at Simon’s Rock and vice president of Bard College.
  • Dorothy Leland, president of Georgia College & State University, has been appointed [3] as chancellor of the University of California at Merced.
  • Pamela Luster, interim vice president of academic services at Las Positas College, in California, has been selected [4] as president of San Diego Mesa College.
  • Mary B. Marcy, provost of Bard College at Simon's Rock and vice president of Bard College, in New York, has been chosen [5] as president of Dominican University, in California.
  • Mary E. Ostrye, vice provost for academic affairs at Ivy Tech Community College, in Indiana, has been promoted [6] to provost, chief academic officer and vice president there.
  • William (Bill) Scroggins, superintendent/president of the College of the Sequoias, in California, has been named [7] president of Mt. San Antonio College, also in California.
  • Keith Taylor, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Gannon University, in Pennsylvania, has been appointed [8] president there.
