Colleges start new academic programs

Christian Brothers University [1] is starting a master of accountancy program.
North Park University [2] is starting three new majors with its department of communication arts: communication studies, media studies and theater and performance studies.
Sacred Heart University [3] is starting a master's degree in human resource management.
Salt Lake Community College [4] is starting an associate of applied science in homeland security and emergency management.
Trinity University, [5] in Texas, is starting an undergraduate minor and a certificate program in arts, letters and enterprise for liberal arts majors who wish to study and demonstrate competence in business skills.
York County Community College, [6] in Maine, is starting an associate degree program in precision machining technology.
