Cabrini College

Radnor, PA 19087-3698

Students do extraordinary things at Cabrini College, a residential Catholic college serving more than 3,100 men and women in undergraduate and graduate liberal arts and professional studies programs. Cabrini's serene 112-acre campus is just 30 minutes from Philadelphia.

Nationally, the college was among the first in higher education to implement community service into its curriculum, and was the first in Pennsylvania to require community service of all undergraduates.

The College's mission is to provide an "education of the heart," integrating intellectual competency with moral and social responsibility. Cabrini College was founded in 1957 by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC). Cabrini offers programs in liberal arts and professional studies and is equally committed to undergraduate residential or commuter, and graduate students.

Location
Cabrini College is nestled in the heart of the Philadelphia Main Line Suburb of Radnor, amidst 112 wooded acres. Adding to the majestic 25-building campus is the handsome turn-of-the-century mansion which was once owned by the late Dr. John T. Dorrance, inventor of the formula for condensed soup and president of the Campbell Soup Company. State-of-the-art buildings also complement the existing architectural design.

Our attractive, historic campus is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Gardens, a highly respected collaborative of gardens and historic properties in the Philadelphia area, and represents the grandeur of the estates once common throughout "Main Line" Philadelphia. This English landscape is highlighted with great old trees, driveways in the tradition of Frederick Law Olmsted, a pond, gate house, carriage house, and of course the grand mansion "Woodcrest", designed by Horace Trumbauer and constructed between 1901 and 1903.

The active life found on campus is enhanced further by being only 30 minutes away from Philadelphia, a city rich in cultural and social offerings.

The College is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Institution.
