Collin’s award-winning professors provide the keys to excellence in the classroom. The faculty includes a U.S. Professor of the Year, a Texas Professor of the Year, four Minnie Stevens Piper Professors and a Fulbright Scholar. Four workforce education programs at Collin—nursing, dental hygiene, real estate and child development—have been designated as exemplary by the state of Texas, an honor received by fewer than five percent statewide. In 2001, our Service Learning and Learning Communities programs received the prestigious Bellwether Award.
