Joliet Junior College is a comprehensive community college offering higher education programs in subjects ranging from accounting to word processing. The college offers pre-baccalaureate programs for students planning to transfer to four-year universities; occupational and technical education leading directly to employment; adult education and literacy programs; personal development courses; economic development programs; and support services necessary to help students succeed. JJC, Illinois Community College District 525, serves approximately 210,000 households in a 1,442-square-mile area that includes parts of seven counties-Will, Grundy, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, Livingston and Cook. The college offers day, evening and weekend classes, as well as courses via audio and videocassette and the Internet. Classes can be taken at the Main Campus in Joliet, the North Campus in Romeoville, the City Center Campus in downtown Joliet, and at more than 20 satellite sites.
