Rose State College

Rose State College offered its first classes on September 21, 1970. The College has grown from an initial enrollment of 1,700 students to a regular fall enrollment of approximately 8,500. The campus is located in Midwest City, OK, just minutes away from downtown Oklahoma City. It includes twenty-five buildings on approximately 120 acres.

Rose State College, a public, open admissions, associate degree-granting institution, provides over 50 degree programs, including in a variety of health care fields, liberal studies, humanities, business, engineering, and social science. The school also has a nationally recognized program in cyber-security. The campus has added a University Center in partnership with the University of Central Oklahoma to provide on-campus advanced degrees in business, professional education, general studies and nursing science. The school is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools along with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Students at Rose State learn in small classes with professors whose first priority is student success. A solid foundation of community support and dedicated faculty and staff allows the college to change and respond to emerging needs. The school is well known for its academic excellence along with a wide range of student-centered support services. Rose State serves recent graduates along with adults returning to school and members of the armed forces at Tinker Air Force Base. Through the college’s Professional Training and Education Center, courses are also provided that target a wide range of corporate and government ongoing training needs along with the continuing education demands of the general public.
