Founded in 1970, Westmoreland County Community College is a two-year public college that offers Southwestern Pennsylvania residents the opportunity to earn an associate in applied science degree in more than 65 career areas, an associate in arts degree designed to transfer to baccalaureate programs at four-year colleges and universities, and numerous diploma and certificate programs for career preparation.
WCCC also offers a variety of noncredit programs for professional development, workforce training, public safety, homeland security and personal enrichment.
The WCCC main campus is located in Youngwood, Pennsylvania in a rural setting just a short distance from the New Stanton Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and approximately 35 miles from Pittsburgh.
