Online course marketplace Udemy on Saturday pledged to review its copyright policies after subject matter experts said their online content had been uploaded to the site without their permission, the BBC reported. Udemy, whose platform enables anyone to teach an online course either free or for a small fee, said in a blog post that plagiarizing content is a "clear violation" of its policies. Although it did not announce any immediate changes, the company suggested nonusers will in the future be able to quickly flag plagiarism.
