A new school year has arrived, though (at least where "Inside Digital Learning" sits) cooler temperatures have not. We're planning an upcoming roundup of professors implementing some form of digital learning into their classrooms for the first time this semester. It could be flipping a classroom for the first time, replacing a pricey textbook with open-source online materials, allowing students to take one class a week online or anything else that involves technology and helping students learn better.

The College of William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business will open by next spring a Center for Online Learning to help grow its online programs. The business school launched its online M.B.A. program in 2015 and added an online new master of science in data analytics this summer. Both those programs will be run out of the new center, which is made possible by a $10 million donation from philanthropist Jane P. Batten.

Saint Mary's University of Minnesota has extended its partnership with Wiley Education Services through 2029, the company announced Tuesday. The new partnership will include two new master's programs in social work and public health, as well as other programs to be announced later. The university has launched 14 online programs with Wiley's help since the partnership began in 2010.

New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service will launch next January a new master's degree program in health administration with the help of Noodle Partners, the company announced Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
