University of Venus

University of Venus is a collaborative venture bringing together the voices of GenX women in higher education from around the globe.

University of Venus started out as a blog, quickly gained support, and is now a nonprofit in the making focused on advocacy and leadership development. You can find our more about the University of Venus nonprofit here.

The University of Venus blog was created by Mary Churchill and Meg Palladino and launched with a collaborative of writers in February 2010. In July of 2010, we partnered with Inside Higher Ed to reach a broader readership from around the world. You can find an archive of our posts from February-July 2010 here.

At University of Venus we are committed to using social media to build community, create solutions, and find ways to reinvent higher education. You can find us on Facebook (University of Venus) and on Twitter (@UVenus).
