ACUPCC
If the ACUPCC is only at the ‘leading edge’ stage, we better spell out the acronym. ACUPCC is The American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment http://www.presidentsclimatecommitment.org/and it purposely targets senior administrators (leaders) to take the lead in addressing climate change. The Commitment recognizes the unique responsibility that institutions of higher education have as role models for their communities and in training the people who will develop the social, economic and technological solutions to reverse global warming. The number of signatories continues to grow, pulling the ‘leading edge’ out into the ‘main stream’. Thank you to the student for asking the question and thank you G. Rendell for the response.
