In today's Academic Minute, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas's Erika Engstrom explains why these glitzy Hollywood renditions are unrealistic. Engstrom is a professor in UNLV's department of communication studies and author of The Bride Factory: Mass Media Portrayals of Women and Weddings. A transcript of this podcast can be found here.
