Cartoon Caption Contest

Cartoon Caption Contest

Welcome to Inside Higher Ed's monthly Cartoon Caption Contest, featuring the work of Matthew Henry Hall. Each month, we will invite readers to suggest an apt, clever, funny or otherwise outstanding caption for a new cartoon; submissions can be made in the comments section below that cartoon or, if you insist, via e-mail at newsroom@insidehighered.com. (Readers are encouraged to like or endorse their favorites in the comments section, too.)

Vote for your favorite caption for last month's cartoon

And the Winner is...

Congratulations to Beth Gazley, winner of Inside Higher Ed's Cartoon Caption Contest for February. Gazley, a professor at Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs, came up with this caption for the cartoon at left: "Like him or not, you have to admire his success in getting a visa." Our readers voted that their favorite. She will receive an Amazon gift card and a signed copy of the cartoon.
