Survey: Online Revenue Steady or Growing for Most Institutions

October 11, 2018

Nearly a third of colleges with continuing education programs reported that their revenues from online programs grew by 3 percent or more in the 2017 academic year, while a quarter said they were flat or grew modestly and 16 percent reported a decline, according to a survey conducted by Learning House and the Association for Continuing Higher Education. The remainder, 28 percent, said they were unable to calculate their revenues.

The survey, released Tuesday, was based on responses from 116 directors of continuing education programs. It contains data on a range of other topics as well.
