Portland State and Barnes & Noble to Develop Degree-Planning Platform
October 18, 2017

BNED LoudCloud, a Barnes & Noble Education company, and Portland State University announced a strategic agreement to co-develop a degree-planning solution. Using insights from Portland State's reTHINK initiative and BNED’s analytics platform, the new platform will help more students graduate on time with better pathways to employment as well as provide the university with long-term demand planning tools, the institution and company said in a statement.

The degree planner will allow students to chart a path to graduation, track progress, understand the impact of their choices on financial aid and adjust their plans to change majors, which officials said in a statement will allow advisers to offer more efficient advising sessions.
