Claremont Lincoln Plans Online Expansion With Watershed Collaborative
September 19, 2018

Claremont Lincoln University, an online graduate institution based in California, has partnered with the nonprofit Watershed Collaborative, which will provide the university with its learning management system.

The institution also announced three new courses -- Anti-Human Trafficking, Women Leading Change and Beyond Bias -- that represent an expansion of the university's certificate programs in social change.

The university decided to shift away from Canvas in order to provide a learning experience more flexible than "read the textbook, watch the video, view the materials, participate in a discussion board, write a paper," according to David Carter, the institution's vice president of creative learning and innovation.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
