Simmons University has extended its partnership with the online program management provider 2U through 2039 -- an additional 15 years, the company announced Tuesday.

The partnership began in 2012 and now encompasses online master's programs in nursing, social work, business, health care, behavior analysis and public health, according to a news release.

Meanwhile, Yale University will deliver with the help of 2U an unspecified number of online short courses on topics covered in its management school, 2U announced Monday.

The courses will launch in spring 2019 and target midcareer professionals, according to a news release.

Terms of both deals were not disclosed.
