With Logicalis, Youngstown Students Can Attend From Anywhere
February 13, 2019

Eleven classrooms across six colleges at Youngstown State University have been outfitted with interactive stations from the tech company Logicalis that enable students to attend class and interact with instructors from anywhere, the New York-based company announced last week.

The new hardware represents an upgrade from the institution's existing infrastructure for distance education, according to Jim Yukech, the university's chief information officer.

"They have been invaluable in partnering with YSU Information Technology Services and our faculty to develop 'use cases' that will advance the educational process and enable YSU to attract and retain students," Yukech wrote in an email.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
