2U Adds Partnerships With Syracuse, Case Western Reserve
February 27, 2019

Syracuse University already works with the online program manager 2U on six online graduate degree programs. Last week, the institution announced another endeavor with the company: 10 online short courses in various professional disciplines.

In the last year, 2U has teamed up with at least four other institutions for short courses: George Washington University, Yale University, Northwestern University and Rice University. The short courses are made possible because of 2U's 2017 purchase of GetSmarter.

Also this week, 2U announced a partnership with Case Western Reserve University to transform its existing online graduate degree program in social work. The company's revamped version of the Case Western program will launch next January, according to a press release.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
