The College of Saint Rose in New York has this semester begun transitioning from the Blackboard learning management system to Canvas, according to a report in the institution's student newspaper The Chronicle.

The transition is expected to wrap up next summer, according to The Chronicle.

Washington University in St. Louis has partnered with the learning management system provider Canvas to replace its current partnership with Blackboard, which will be phased out at the institution this fall and next spring. The Canvas switchover will be complete by next summer, according to a news release.
