New Programs: Performance Studies, Gender, Museum Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Health Sciences

  • Brooklyn College of the City University of New York is starting a new MFA in performance and interactive media arts. Advanced certificate programs will also be offered.
  • DePaul University is starting a new master of arts program in women's and gender studies.
  • Johns Hopkins University is starting an interdisciplinary minor for undergraduates in museums and society. The program will involve many museums and cultural institutions in the Baltimore/Washington area.
  • Sacred Heart University, in Connecticut, is starting a Middle Eastern studies minor. Students will be required to take six courses, two of them in Arabic.
  • The University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point is introducing a new bachelor of science in health sciences.
