  • David G. Behrs, associate provost for university initiatives and vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at Dominican University of California, has been appointed president of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, in Indiana.
  • Edward Bouie, Jr., associate superintendent for management information systems of the DeKalb County School System, has been named president of Argosy University’s Atlanta campus.
  • Sung-Mo (Steve) Kang, engineering dean at the U. of California at Santa Cruz, has been named chancellor of the University of California at Merced.
  • Richard W. Phillips, former regional executive director for TLC-Laser Eye Centers, in Memphis, has been selected as president of Southern College of Optometry.
  • Mary Spangler, president of Oakland Community College, in Michigan, has been appointed chancellor of Houston Community College.
  • Eric F. Spina,  Douglas D. Danforth Dean of the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University, has been named vice chancellor and provost.
